2024年 方針提言
「自然を学び、自然から学ぶ」
方針提言2023年の最後一行が、現実化していきます。
「自然に合わせた、時代に合わせた、成長や拡大だけが正解ではない、無理をしない事業設計を目指していきます」
まさにこの事が重要だと感じます。世の中は、「拡大局面」では無くなったという認識でいます。
テクノロジーの進化により、それをどのように実生活に落とし込むか、実装のタイミングに来ています。
私の分野であれば、狭義では魚であり、中義であれば海であり、広義であれば自然であります。
それぞれ「魚×テクノロジー」「海×テクノロジー」「自然×テクノロジー」と考えた場合、
これらが導き出す式、そして解は相当数あるでしょう。
最適解は、地域性によって大きく変動されることも予想できます。つまり時間を要する。
四季があり、成長や成育にも時間が掛かる。一昼夜にして完成するものではない事に挑もうとしています。
ますます何々業界という垣根が薄れていく中、私達の得意分野を活用しながら、
「水産×教育×自然」という施策を、一つずつ丁寧かつ迅速にPCDAサイクルを回していきます。

・拡大局面；通常、企業や組織が成長し、拡大する段階を指す。この時期には売上や市場シェアの拡大、新規顧客の獲得、事業の拡張などが重視される。成長を最優先し、規模を大きくすることが焦点となる時期となる。しかし、時代や状況によって、成長だけが成功の尺度ではなくなることもあり、同時に自然や環境、社会的な側面を含めたバランスが求められることもある。
2024 Policy Statement:
‘Learning from nature, and learning through nature.’
The last line from the 2023 policy statement is becoming a reality: ‘We aim for business designs that are aligned with nature, adapted to the times, understanding that growth and expansion alone are not the only answers, and striving not to push beyond limits.’
This notion feels incredibly significant. Society no longer perceives itself in an ‘expansion phase.’ The evolution of technology has reached a point where the focus has shifted to implementing it into our daily lives, considering how to integrate technology seamlessly.
In my field, in narrow terms, it’s about fish; more broadly, it’s the sea, and in the widest sense, it encompasses nature.
When contemplating ‘Fish × Technology,’ ‘Sea × Technology,’ and ‘Nature × Technology,’ countless equations and solutions emerge from these combinations.
The optimal solution could vastly differ based on regional nuances. Hence, it’s time-consuming. Just as there are seasons and natural growth takes time, what we’re striving for isn’t achieved overnight.
As the boundaries between various industries continue to blur, we aim to leverage our expertise and systematically implement initiatives combining ‘Fishery(aquaculture) × Education × Nature,’ gradually and swiftly following the PDCA cycle.”
